# How to Unstake Your Tokens

Unstake $B3 from the original staking pools on Base: request an unstake on stake.b3.fun, wait out the cooldown of about 45 days, then withdraw.

Unstaking from the original B3 pools takes two transactions about 45 days apart. You request an unstake on [stake.b3.fun](https://stake.b3.fun), wait out the cooldown, then come back and withdraw. Both go through the legacy contracts on Base.

## Before you start

In the Staking pool each unstake must be more than 50 B3, so a position of 50 B3 or less can't be unstaked until you add to it. A partial unstake also has to leave more than 50 B3 staked. The Auto-stake pool has no minimum.

Upside's migration bonus has ended, so a new unstake doesn't earn one. A bonus already granted stays in place unless you cancel the request that earned it.

Email-login wallets from the old site can't connect to stake.b3.fun. Ask for help in the [B3 Discord](https://discord.gg/b3dotfun) and the team will help you reach your stake. The team never DMs first and will never ask for your seed phrase, private key or email login code.

## Request an unstake

**Connect your wallet**

Go to [stake.b3.fun](https://stake.b3.fun) and connect the wallet you staked from. Switch to Base if the site asks you to.

**Enter an amount**

Open the **Unstake** tab and enter how much to unstake. If you have B3 in both pools, pick one first.

**Confirm the request**

Click **Unstake** and confirm the transaction in your wallet. The cooldown starts, and rewards stop on the amount you unstake.

## Withdraw after the cooldown

The cooldown is 1,944,000 blocks, about 45 days. Each request has its own.

**Find your request**

Return to [stake.b3.fun](https://stake.b3.fun) with the same wallet. **Unstake requests** lists each request and the date it unlocks. When the cooldown is over, the request shows **Ready**.

**Withdraw**

Click **Withdraw** and confirm the transaction in your wallet. This sends the unlocked B3 to your wallet.

If a request isn't listed, use **Missing a request? Find it by transaction hash.** on the same page.

## Cancel a request

Before you withdraw, **Restake** cancels a request and puts the B3 back in the pool. It also reverses any Upside migration bonus that unstake earned, and since the bonus has ended, a new unstake won't earn it back. Unstaking again starts a new cooldown.

## If a pool is paused

The contract owner can pause the pools, which stops staking, unstaking and withdrawals until they're unpaused. stake.b3.fun shows **Pool paused** while that lasts.
